Why Finding Virtue

Why Finding Virtue

One of the most important things a father will ever do.

The Problem

A generation of boys with no one to call them up.

For most of human history, a boy did not have to wonder when he became a man. His father told him. His community marked it. There was a day, a rite, a line he crossed — and everyone on both sides of that line knew it.

We have lost that. The rites are gone. The markers are gone. And into that silence rushes everything else — screens, noise, and counterfeit versions of manhood sold to boys who are starving for the real thing.

A boy who is never called up does not stop becoming a man. He just becomes one alone — guessing, shaped by whoever is loudest. The damage is not hypothetical. We see it every day.

But there is a force strong enough to answer it. Not a program. Not a platform. A father — present, deliberate, and willing to go first.

The Program

What Finding Virtue gives a father.

Four things every son needs — and most never receive.

I

Twelve Virtues

A clear, teachable path — one virtue at a time, each grounded in Scripture and lived out in a real adventure a father and son take together.

II

A Cohort of Men

Your son doesn't just hear it from you. A trusted band of men stands with him, so manhood is modeled and witnessed — not merely described.

III

The Calling Ceremony

A father stands before his son, his community, and his God and declares him a man. A single moment he will carry for the rest of his life.

IV

A Lifetime Foundation

Twelve virtues become the compass he keeps long after the last Virtue Day — a way of living he can hand to his own sons one day.

The Investment

It costs you the one thing that matters.

Finding Virtue is not expensive. But it is not free, either — it costs you time, presence, and the willingness to go first. Twelve days set apart. A cohort of men you invite in. Preparation, prayer, and follow-through. This is the good kind of hard — the kind that changes a father as much as a son.
