A father, a son, and the question that started a movement.
The Origin Story
It began with a question.
Years ago, Reagan Miller looked at his son Joshua and found himself wrestling with a question far older than either of them: What does it mean to be a man? Not the world’s answer — God’s.
He couldn’t find a program that answered it the way Scripture did, so he and his wife built one. Months of seeking God, searching the Word, and praying gave shape to something simple and strong: twelve virtues, a cohort of trusted men, and a ceremony to mark the moment a boy steps into manhood.
Joshua walked through it — one virtue at a time, one adventure at a time. And he did not walk alone. Reagan’s own father, Roland, took his place in the cohort and chose to teach the virtue of Courage. He took Joshua to the Alamo and told him about John Hancock — a man who signed his name so boldly that everyone would know exactly where he stood. Three generations, standing together.
Roland passed in the spring of 2024. But the courage he taught, and the legacy he lived, are woven into every page of this program. His memory lives on in Finding Virtue — and in every father and son who takes up the journey.
The Mission
A movement, not a moment.
To raise a generation of fathers who lead their sons to Christ — and a generation of sons who live God’s truth in action, make Him known to all the world, and one day hand the same to their own sons.
Finding Virtue is a program, a book, and a growing community — but at its heart it is a movement of ordinary men doing one of the most important things a father will ever do.
The Mark
Every line means something.
The father is the bow — bent, under tension. The son is the arrow, aimed true. The compass is the father’s wisdom. And The Calling is the moment of release.

The Founder
Reagan R. Miller
Reagan R. Miller is a follower of Christ, committed husband, father of five, grandfather of ten, and the author of Finding Virtue. The ministry was born from a program he and his wife built for their son. Reagan’s passion is for families and raising a generation of men who will stand for Christ, make Him known to all the world and live according to God’s truth.
